rapture index (the dow jones industrial average of end time activity)
The Rapture Index has two functions: one is to factor together a number of related end time components into a cohesive indicator, and the other is to standardize those components to eliminate the wide variance that currently exists with prophecy reporting.
I am a long time reader of The Rapture Index (RI) but The REAL Rapture Index (RRI) provides an equally interesting attempt to document and quantify the current level of prophetic fulfillment from a Dispensationalist Premillennialist perspective.
The RRI openly admits to receiving its categories and inspiration from the RI but presents itself as a more objective and realistic evaluator of the state of each category. The RI sees the approach of the Rapture accelerating, whereas the RRI sees it decelerating. Both sites provide interesting insights into the worldview of christian fundamentalists, and I propose that they provide an interesting insight into the category of religious fundamentalists regardless of creed.
